CORS In AWS API Gateway

In this article, we will enable CORS in AWS API Gateway.

Test For CORS

First, create a service in the API gateway. Use this website to test if the API is CORS enabled or not.

If you are getting the following error, it means that your API is not CORS enabled.

Enabling CORS

For enabling the CORS, select the method and click on Actions → Enable CORS.

The following window will appear.

Click on the Enable CORS and replace existing CORS headers. A confirmation message will appear.

Click on the Yes, replace existing values button. The CORS is enabled.

Test For CORS Again

Again, test for CORS and this time you do not get any error.
