In this article I will explain how to convert data format in excel 2007.

Software Requirement

Before you start reading this tutorial you should make sure that excel 2007 is installed on your machine.

Before you go ahead, it is required that you should know basics about excel.

First of all open a new excel and save it with the name ‘Convert_Data_Format_Demo.xlsx’ (you can give any name).

For this tutorial I am adding following data in excel file

Follow the following steps for changing data format

Select the column (on which you want to change data format)
Select the format icon in ‘Number’ ribbon group and click on $ English (United States).
