CloudTrail In AWS

In this article, we will discuss CloudTrail in AWS.

Purpose

CloudTrail captures the activities done by user, group or the AWS services as events.

Create The Cloudtrail

For creating the CloudTrail, search the word cloudtrail in the search box. Click on the CloudTrail service in the search result.

The CloudTrail home screen will appear. Click on the Create a trail button.

The create CloudTrail screen will appear. Enter the details and click on the Create trail button.

The CloudTrail is created.

Creation Of The S3 Bucket

Once the CloudTrail is created, we can perform some activity. For this article, we will create a S3 bucket.

Captured Events

To check the captured events, you can go to CloudTrail → Event history.
