Cloudhsm Cluster In AWS

In this article, we will discuss the cloudHSM cluster in AWS.

What Is HSM?

HSM (Hardware Security Module) is a physical device that protects and manages your digital keys.

CloudHSM is the cloud-hosted HSM service.

The cloudHSM cluster is the collection of individual HSMs.

To create the cloud HSM cluster, search the word cloudhsm in the search box. Click on the CloudHSM service in the search box.

The AWS cloudHSM screen will appear. Click on the Create cluster button.

In the create cluster screen, select the VPC and AZ(s). Click on the Next button to proceed.

In the next screen, select the Backup retention period. Click on the Next button.

In the next screen, you can specify the tags. Click on the Review button.

In the review screen, click on the Create cluster button.

Once the cluster is created, the cluster is created in the Uninitialized state.
