Change The Account Alias From The AWS Console

In this article, we will change the account alias from the AWS console.

Why Do You Need An Account Alias?

An account alias makes the login URL more user-friendly by replacing the account id with a custom name.

To change the account alias, go to the IAM module of the AWS console. You will get an option to create the account alias on the right-hand side.

Click on the Create button. A popup window will appear to enter the account alias.

Click on the Save changes button. Your account alias is changed.
