Azure Service Bus

In this article, we will discuss the Azure Service Bus.

Purpose

The azure service bus is a fully managed messaging service. The messaging services fall under two categories: -

Queues
Topics

Queues

Queues are the FIFO (First In First Out) message delivery for the customers. The messages are processed in the order in which they have been added to the queue.

Topics

The topic is used for implementing the publisher-subscriber model. In the pub-sub model, the publisher publishes the message and multiple subscribers received the message.

How To Create An Azure Service Bus?

To create an Azure service bus, search for the Service Bus in the search box.

A screen will appear where the list of service buses will be displayed. Click on the + Create button.

The create service screen will appear. Enter the data and click on the Review + create button for data validation.

Once the data is validated, click the Create button to create the service bus.

How To Create A Queue?

Once the Azure service bus is created, go to the detail section. Click on the + Queue button.

A window appears on the right-hand side. Enter details and then click on the Create button.

The queue is created.

How To Create The Topic?

For creating the topic, click on the + Topic button. A window appears on the right-hand side. Enter the details and click on the Create button.
