AWS Transcribe Service

In this article, we will discuss the AWS Transcribe service.

Purpose

The AWS Transcribe Service provides speech-to-text capability to your application.

Creation Of S3 Bucket

The first step is to create the S3 bucket. Inside the bucket, we will create 2 folders i.e., input and output.

The input folder stores the video file.

The output folder stores the output of the AWS Transcribe service.

Create A Transcribe Job

Once the S3 bucket is created, the next step is to create the transcribe job. First, search for the Amazon Transcribe service in the search box.

The Amazon Transcribe screen will appear. From the left-hand menu, click on Transcription jobs.

The transcription jobs screen will appear on the right-hand side. Click on the Create job button.

In the Create job screen, enter the Name.

Scroll down to select the Input data and Output data.

Scroll to the bottom and click on the Next button.

In the next screen, scroll to the bottom and click on the Create job button.

The job is created.

Once the job is created, the Status is In progress. After 1 to 2 mins (depending on the size of the video), the Status is changed to Complete.

Output

The files got generated in the Output folder.
