What Are Availability Options?

  1. Loss of data due to the system failure
  2. System reboot

Availability Zone

Availability Sets

  1. Fault Domains - A Fault domain is a set of hardware components that share the single point of failure. More the fault domains, less the chance of failure
  2. Update Domains - If the system is going for software/hardware update or reboot then the update domain (which is the group of virtual machines) will reboot in parts so that the whole system is not in unavailable state
