Auto Scaling In DynamoDB In AWS

In this article, we will discuss DynamoDB auto-scaling in AWS.

Purpose

Autoscaling means increasing the provisioned read and write capacity of the table to handle a sudden increase in traffic.

When creating the DynamoDB table, select Customize settings under Settings

In the Reading capacity section, you can switch the automatic scaling function on and off.

By default, the auto-scaling is On. You must also set the following fields: -
