Assign MFA To The User In The AWS Console

In this article, we will assign MFA to the user in the AWS console.

Steps

First, click on any user to go to the details screen. In the detail screen, click on the Security credentials tab.

In the Security Credentials tab, click on the Manage link.

A popup window appears to select the type of MFA device. I am selecting a Virtual MFA device.

A screen appears to scan the QR code. For that, I have installed Google Authenticator on my mobile phone from the Google play store.

Once the scan is done, you will get one six-digit code and after some time, another six-digit code.

Fill both the codes in MFA code 1 and MFA code 2

Click on the Assign MFA to complete the process.
