Architectural Pattern

The architectural pattern describes how the entire system should be designed. These patterns are decided at the beginning of the project and normally do not change throughout the life cycle of the project.

Examples - MVC, MVP, MVVM etc.

Design Pattern

Design pattern are related to the solution of problems that occur at the subsystem level.

Examples - singleton, factory etc.
